Ron Goldmark and his small group of fellow Marxists, including his long-time girlfriend, Alicia Rubenstein, deeply disappointed in the outcome of the Cold War, still wish to establish what Karl Marx called the dictatorship of the proletariat.
There is just one thing that stands in their way the United States of America. They realize that in order to achieve their goal, the US will have to be either knocked completely out of the picture, or so badly weakened that it will no longer be able to stop the Utopian dreams of Karl Marx and his followers.
Gathering together a group of fellow Marxists, and retreating to an isolated spot in New England, various ideas are hashed out and most of them are rejected as not being practical. Finally one of them remembers a person that can help them do what they want. The price will be high. But will any price be too high to bring about Utopia?
